Hi Colin, What gets me about your commentary on octane rating is that I'm running my '69 B (with a c: '67 head) on 87 octane unleaded and have no pinking with the timing set at stock specs. I'd be running super unleaded (94 octane here in Texas) otherwise. Perhaps your engine is modified to the extent that you need the higher octane. No way for me to know. Charley Robinson '69 B |
