Curious that none of the GT proponents mentioned the sun roof as a means
of keeping the car cool.
My own GT is a '74, admittedly highly modified, but give the choice
between my roadster, equally modified, most of the time I drove the GT.
I was fortunate to buy a folding sun roof by Britex, a copy of the
earlier Webastco sun roof, that was often installed as the car left the
factory. Sadly, Britax has stopped the manufacture of this style, but
other sources do exist.
The sun roof offers almost as much benefit as the convertible top, can
be opened or closed with one hand while driving, & if properly
installed, will not leak. Mine will go through the automatic car wash
without a problem.
Come on, Schooler, lets hear it for BGT's with sun roofs.
