Mike:
As you have seen from the postings there appears to be no sourcing
on most of the hard top parts. I intend to include the hardtop in one of
the upcoming Moss catalogs as a spur to get something done. Unfortunately
much of the original tooling wandered off and appears dead ended.
I have 3 factory tops and sometime this year need to source rubber,
so I will be keeping in touch. The rear window seal should be pretty easy
as it is a standard x-section. The side seals, I think can be faked with
some of the TR3 windshield rubber we have. The side windows are available
under the factory number AHH7234. They are now repro, but still expensive.
In the early nineties I purchased enough of the last OE ones for my tops, so
I have that covered. I also purchased a bunch of the brackets that attach
to sides of the hardtop. #AHH7202. I have spares of those if anyone is in
need.
When my V8 shell goes to paint, I am going to get a top painted to
match, so I hope to have the rubber problem solved by then. It is a bit
tough, because the only samples I have are on my race car top, that I don't
want to damage.
Kelvin.
