Dot 3 or Dot 4 Brake fluid

Hi list, the Castrol GTX Dot 4 in Bolivia is very expensive stuff. I wonder
if there is any major difference if I use regular Wagner Dot 3 instead. I
will not be autocrossing or drag racing my B. Probably a spin round town
