Dear list:
In a recent post, someone seemed to imply that the bulb (the orange idiot
light) in the dashboard played a crucial role in the charging activity of my
alternator.
Are we sure that the bulb is required to somehow actuate the recharging
behvior of the alternator on the battery? And that if that bulb burns out,
the battery will drain?
Maybe I am misinterpreting, but why not just wire that circuit in parallel
(not series) to prevent this problem.
