Nope... no rollbar. I have ALMOST put it in but am having redesign the
one I picked up CHEAP ($50.00) because my midfold top doesn't like it.
The brackets come into contact with the 45 degree struts so the top
won't go down with the rollbar in. Yes, I thought about changing the
top - but I love the quick-action midfold top (goes up in 30 seconds
when the rain hits). I thought about unbolting the rollbar when not
racing... nahhhh.

Our class of car does not require a rollbar but this may change soon.
If we did then to comply with current regulations it would be wayyyy too
high for ANY known top to cover (designed to prevent the top of your
head being shaved off). I can supply the relevent page of the
regulations if necessary :-)

So in the meantime, I go bar-less. But being a STOCK MGB I am not sure
that I could go fast enough to make the beasty roll over, no matter what
I came into contact with - some of those shots on my website catch me in
a full-on (controlled:-) over-steer slide, and she doesn't even HINT at
turning turtle.

I *will* have a rolbar by the time the season starts in March, 2000. I
plan to be going faster then, too!
