I don't think you necessarily lose your license. But I believe there is a
rule (legal or medical?) about not driving for a year if you suffer a head
injury and lose conciousness. I don't know the particulars but my son had a
serious head injury last March and now he isn't allowed to drive for a year
to insure that he doesn't have any problems.

Granted this is Montana. And since he is 15, I like this rule as I'm not
looking forward to him driving in the near future. Maybe when he is a bit
older.
