Hi Teri,
Congrats on the car. I commute 110 miles/day in my 77B (in
Massachusetts). I'm sure that a number of listers will tell you how to lube
your speedometer cable so I'll stay away from that. What I can suggest is this
--- look at the tachometer and do a little mental arithmetic. In fourth gear
your car goes about 18 mph per 1000 rpm. So 55 mph is just about 3000 rpm, 65
mph is close to 3500 and 70 is at about 4000.
