I have a homemade solution for filling the trans that has never let me
down yet. I took a small (16 or 24 oz) soda bottle (plastic) and cut off
the top about two inches from the mouth. This will create a small funnel.
Then I took a piece of thin plastic about 3 by 5 inches and wrapped it
into a small cone. This is done so it is 5 inches long. I then inserted
this into the mouth of the bottle about 1.5 inches and cut the part that
is inside the bottle. The cone is then sealed to the inside and outside
of the bottle with your choice of duct tape. When inserted through the
filler hole in the trans tunnel you can feel the cone slide right into the
trans filler hole. It may take a couple of trys to get the opening in the
cone just right. But overall it took me 10 minutes to make and has lasted
through a few trans oil changes. This allows a completely blind solution
that doesn't require getting dirty, as long as you get the thing into the
trans.
