It's a '99 Vanner, in great shape. Displacement just over 4 liters. I've
never
built one of these from scratch before, but I'm looking forward to it. I
figure
it will take at least 18 years, or 21, if we want to prepare her for the
(fast)
track. We've decided to call her Lily. She's even cuter'n a Bugeye Sprite.

Congratulations, Phil! You are right about the amount of work. I have a
1970 Hefner who turned out great and presented me with a 1997 Schwarz after
being rebadged! (This is getting out of hand.)
BTW, this type of project will go through a very difficult period from about
13 to 18 years. No matter what you do during this time, it will not be
right. Don't worry, it will eventually start working on its own.
