You think the *fan* is anemic? Wait till you experience the "half-dead
hamster breathing through a straw" non-blast of non-heat which is all the
motor puts out at anything below 40 degrees ambient. Yes, the stock
cooling system is *too* good -- my B won't get up to operating
temperature or even open the thermostat when driven at freeway speeds in
seriously cold weather (which is admittedly rare around here). You don't
get much cockpit heat when the coolant in the heater core is a tepid 120
degrees or so, and freezing air is roaring in through the cowl vent at
70mph. I suggest you pack some cardboard to block off part of the
radiator under those circumstances.

I don't know of any swap-in fan solutions. But back when I was into
slot-car racing (anyone remember that?), we used to rewind electric
motors to get more RPM. Well, it's an idea...

Actually, it occurs to me that what we really need is a recirculation
vent option.

Oh, one more suggestion: there is a plan available showing how to
rejigger the heater control valve to improve water flow. That doesn't
solve the main issue, but it could help.

Have fun...
