When you jack from the center you place down force on the ends of the
axels,
at the spring and shock points and upward pressurd at the center.
Like a piece of wood over your knee. Snap, I have seen this happen,
on big stuff trucks ect. and have seen cracked housings on cars at the
point
where the housing tapers for the axels. I jacked everything from the
center
until my friend snaped an housing in a ford box truck we were working
