...it may sound funny, but check with Grayhound Bus lines. Or any other
line that runs bbetween the cities in question.
Most WILL carry frieght. I don't know the weight limits on idividual boxes
but I don't think it would cost $300!

Subject: Shipping engine from Oklahoma to SC?
I have recently purchased a Buick 215 from a gentleman in Oklahoma. After
looking into a couple of the freight companies, they want around $300 to
ship the engine. That is almost as much as I paid for the engine. Does
anyone on the list have an experience with shipping an engine? Is anyone
planning on coming in this direction this fall, and would be willing to make
some extra money by putting it in the back of your truck.
Please reply directly to me (Wake074@aol.com) as I subscribe to the list in
the digest version.
Thanks for the help,
Glenn
