Glad to hear everyone's all right despite Floyd.
A leak around the windshield frame should leave visible water trails
either at the corners of the dash or under the vinyl on top the dash (if
you see a pucker and it squelches when you press on it, that's it).
Unless there's a rust-through hole hidden under that wide rubber piece at
the outer base of the windshield?
Are you sure all the water previously introduced has drained out of the
heater/vent box?
I've had it fill up so that under hard cornering water would sploosh out
of the heater vent flaps on the downhill side. Of course, you should make
sure that the drain bulb is clear if that happens.
It's possible that underhood water is getting in through some orifice.
Check all the firewall plugs and grommets.
Good luck.
