Sounds like a touch of jealousy creeping in here.  

I admit that I never could make myself think of the "look" of the thing
as being an MG but my thoughts about them have changed as everyone I
meet who has driven one raves about them.  We have many of them cruising
around town here and a few at the Car Club - I just want to see one go
through its paces at the track!

I probably would buy my dream 'A car (and another 'B for that money)
before I bought an 'F ... but I wouldn't knock one back if it landed in
my lap.
