Steve, You did not say where the screw is, but if you can heat it, Locktite turns into a power at 450 degrees F. BTW did you use blue or the red stuff? Blue can be disassembled, but the red stuff is stronger than a grade 8 bolt when properly applied. This means that you will peel the threads off the bolt on disassembly when Red Locktite was used correctly (unless you can heat the assembly). Hope this helps, Rick Ewald |
