Scott,
Check your rubber hoses in the trunk to
the round thingee thats on the passenger
side,if they are cracked
you will get gas fumes in the
cockpit.The round thingee is some kind
of vapor deal that has to do with
emmisions.Where do you live?maybe you
won't need all the smog stuff or maybe
you can borrow it to get thru smog.
