MGA heater vent screw length

You have to but a short screw in the heater box on the back near the end of
the brake master cylinder.
If it is to long you can not put the defroster vent connector on. The place
where the vent hose connects
to the heater box down under the dash. Of course if you use the original
fasteners then there isn't a problem.
But if you try to use some new fasteners that one must be shorter then all
the others...
