Nothing really comes to mind, but I suppose you could inspect a few
things from a preventive maintenance standpoint...
trans rear seal
hand brake cable lube
rear spring shackles
rear shocks (leaking? bolts?)
rebound strap condition
rear brake hose condition
axle breather cap (is there one? I guess I don't know, but it should be
checked for cleanliness, if so)
fuel line integrity
exposed wiring condition (particularly fuel sending unit wires could be
chafed)
signs of leakage on brake backing plates
Better stop before I cover the whole Bentley's, but you get the idea...
it seems every time I'm under there, I spot something.
Gary Davis had this to say:
>I'm about ready to tackle replacing the thrust washers in the differential
>and the u-joints and was wondering if there was anything else that I
>could/should do while I have the car in this state of dismemberment.
