Hi Bob,
No one has answered me yet, but I question your ammeter readings. 15 to 20
VOLTS sounds within the realm of possibility, but I thought that the CURRENT
readings(amps) should be closer to 2 or 3.......at least at the regulator.
Am I mistaken?........I'm not sure with the TD, but my Lucas RB-344 regulator
has 3 coils. A voltage regulator, a current regulator, and a cutoff.
I bought the regulator from Moss and I understand that they are made in
India......and are not very reliable.
At this point I'm not sure what to do. It's not THAT pressing a rproblem, but
I do need to take care of it sometime.
Let me know if you have any luck?
Bob
