<So, how many cars do you have???>
You made me stop and think for a minute - I couldn't answer right away
without adding things up.
I just sold a TR3 to a friend, so that's one less, and the Swallow Doretti
that I had around for years and sold a few years ago came up the the ABFM and
won best debuting restoration this year, making me glad I had passed it on to
a good home. And I sold a Jag XK 150 to Bill Eastman on this group - I
expect that restoration will be done any day now, right Bill?
The fleet currently consists of:
1962 MGA Coupe (do it yourself Deluxe with Twincam wheels/brakes - presently
having a brake job)
1958 Twincam race car (engine rebuilt but not yet installed)
1959 Twincam roadster (unrestored)
1969 MGC roadster (operated by she-who-must-be-obeyed)
1963 TVR Grantura Mk 3 (race car - 3 main B with HRG and Webers)
1965 Jensen CV8 (the plastic peril - 383 sixpack)
1971 Jensen Interceptor Saloon (my transport to the Tahoe event)
1974 Jensen Interceptor Convertible (retsored but don't use it much)
1972 Le Mans 455 HO Convertible (not being used right now, but one of 17 cars
built and in the family since new)
1955 Buckler Mk 13 in bits (obscure sports racing car - MG power)
1994 Chrysler Minivan (towcar and daily driver for SWMBO)
1988 Fiero GT (my daily driver and play toy - 3.2 litre 300 bhp turbo)
So I guess that's an even dozen. Anyone want to buy a Buckler project, or a
Jensen Convertible?
Maybe that will convince your significant other that some people are even
more deranged than you.
