Ivan -
I've been through this - was getting about one flat tire per month
commuting and about one per 200 miles at innerstate speeds. In my case it
was not the tubeless tires - it was the "one-size-fits-all" innertubes that
we get from most tire stores. They wrinkle and chafe on themselves. I
bought the "Classico" tubes from my local Moss dealer (British Auto
Restorations in Roanoke VA) and have since run 12-13K on my wire-wheeled
'76 before I got another flat. End of honeymoon, I thought - but no - it
was a nail.
No connection, no personal profit, void where prohibited, batteries not
included...
But try 'em - you'll love 'em. Make sure the "rubber bands" protecting the
tube from the spoke nipples are in good shape and find a tire shop that
knows how to pre-inflate when they install the tubes.
