Jim, 

To its great credit Florida has no inspection requirements at all.  However, 
certain counties do.  I believe they are the more populace counties, so check 
in the county to which you're going.  There used to be a large fee for 
bringing a car into the state, but it was declared unconstitutional.  I even 
got a refund!  Also, we have a less expensive collectible tag.  So come on 
down.  We're a car friendly state.
