Would be interested to learn if anyone has experienced a failure of subject part. This oil line is found on all MBG 1800 engines, from 1962 through 1980. It runs from the lower right hand side of the block to either an oil pressure sender or to the pressure line feeding the gauge. In my experience it is a rubber hose, covered with stainless steel braiding. If you have experienced such a failure, was it the original hose, or a replacement? Bill Schooler |
