It's also supposed to neutralize acids in the coolant. I've used it for
several years, but have it in a Miata and the temp gauge never goes over N
anyway. Haven't driven an MG with it enough to say if it keeps the coolant
temp down. Redline's written literature claims that it does. Seems
reasonable since you run less antifreeze which makes cooling system more
efficient.
