I too parked miles from anyone in a parking lot, but it seemed not
to matter. The dings appeared. Years ago, I had a stronger vindictive
streak.
I used to put small stones in the tire
'airfill' valve to flatten the tire. When I was sure (Paint on the corner of
the other car's door!), I used 2 stones on 2 tires. Nasty but it felt good.
(Haven't done it for at least 2 decades.) I did also take to carrying on my
key chain a valve remover, and once or twice, did that, too, but I felt
guilty after awhile.
Hope there are no law enforcement agents with long memories reading this.
