BGT wheel well paint, black or body?

My 70 BGT has cruddy black paint in the wells.  Before it comes off the
stands I want to make it right.  Should they be painted black or body
color?  Another lister that lives just down the street suggested
Rustoleum color-matched to the body and I'm leaning that way.  It looks
good on his B.  So what is the consensus?
