Drove down to the mg yesterday, wanted to make more space for my GT, in
the garage I borrowed. The garage is heated, but there is not much space
beside the car. The owner has a small_time business, selling 'things' at
markeds. He uses it to store those 'things' that he may be able to sell,
sometime, in the future, perhaps. I have offered to help him remove most
of the 'things' and send it to the junk yard. That's were it belongs. He
agrees.
I need a new 'cowl for the steering column' ( spent som time, trying to
find that name in english !! ) Also, I probably will order exchange oil
preassure/water_temp gauge, and tachometer. A recharge of the batteries,
change rear wire wheels &hubs, and then everything should be OK. ?
But,
when I parked the car, I automatically pulled the hand brake. On a car
that has been standing still for 6-8 months. Yes, they are seized. I
will jack (??)the car this weekend, get under it, and try to find out,
what is wrong. Hopefully only the hand brake wire. The brakes appeared
OK when i drove it to the garage.
There is a lot of snow around Oslo, so I have plenty of time. (But when
I have plenty of time, I normally end up with a lot of work, that has
to be done in 2_3 days. So this weekend I will...)
