Midget Engine Numbers

does anyone have the number sequences for the 1976 and 1977 1500 Midget
engines? I'm trying to determin if the engine is a 76 or a 77. The car is a
77 Made in Jan of 1977 but the engine components resemble that of the 1975
or 1976 engine.
