Why can't the new seals just fit properly? I have this problem with new
door seals (71 BGT). The latches are set out to their maximum yet it takes
a forceful slam to close the doors. I doubt if the door seals can be
modified as you did on the boot seal since they seal on a flatter surface.
I don't expect any help on this as there probably is no remedy.
