The key might be how your car is insured.  While the police might not bother
you, if you have "Antique Auto" insurance and have need to make a claim or
report an accident you might then have to show proof of where you were going
etc.  How about folks anyone have any experieince along these lines?

Cops wont bother you - as long as you arent using it as a daily driver.
Using the same route every day and parking in the same place would
probably draw their attention to you.
