The thirty-third annual "Gathering of the Faithful", a weekend
convention for the MG enthusiast, will be held on April 9-11 in Ocala,
Florida at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center and will feature all MG
years and models. You don't need a winning show car to join in the fun
planned for these three days. For those liking a challenge, thirty-one
plaque awards will be presented in a popularly judged car show to
winners in sixteen categories. An event filled weekend has been planned
for everyone. Join other MG enthusiasts in camaraderie, good food, tire
kicking, relaxation, auction, flea markets and a road tour of a life
time.
April in Florida is perfect MG weather. In addition, the hill country of
Marion County is the perfect setting for this big MG GOF gathering for
the Southeastern United States. Marion County boasts some 400 horse
farms and is noted for its rolling green pastures and majestic live
oaks. This unique rural setting combined with the thoroughbred industry
forms the basis this year for our theme "Maintaining the Breed".
