Well, i didn't do anything fancy... I got an old pallet jack and used
about 12 sections of 2x8 (what I had handy). I rolled the pallet jack
under the car and built up four support areas using the 2x8s. I placed
them at the leaf spring mount area towards the back and under the frame
at the front. This is supporting (very solidly) the entire car with the
exception of the Motor/Gearbox and rear axle. Works like a charm. :)
Now one of my friends who has heard complain about not having enough
space wants to hang the thing from the rafters, claiming it would get it
out of the way and make it more convenient to work on the rockers. I
told him I would prefer to get the heavy parts off first... like the
chassis....
