I've got to agree with Andy on this. My first attempt at tuning SUs was a
nightmare - ALL because, as I found out, they were in bad shape. Once
rebuilt, unisyn'ed and set to nominal jet adjustment, it took very little
time to find the "sweet spot". And maybe I'm just not enough of a
performance fanatic - but after tweaking a couple of flats this way or
that, I don't see how they could run much better. At least I'm happy. The
next trick is to train yourself to leave them alone for the next 3 or 4
years. That's the hard part - but I've done it. The "twelve flat"
programs offered by AA (Adjuster's Anonymous) do help. :^)
