Erik,

Well my Austin Healey 100 / 3000 book it says the only time a 100S was raced
at LeMans was in '55 - the one that was involved in the horrific crash with
the Mercedes that killed 82 people, mostly spectators. The driver of the
100S was Lance Macklin. I guess there could have been co-drivers, it is a 24
hour race.

This has info on the 1961 GP of NZ. It mentions a David Evans - lot of
Brabhams around then. If I was you Eric I'd forward the question to the
Healey list, there's a guy on there - Joe Jarick, who has a 100S and has
raced with many notable people so I'm sure he'll know if this guy is on the
level.
Sounds like that MG like Aston may be an Ulster eh? Just a guess. :) Biiiggg
things aren't they compared to a little MG!
Cheers,
Neil
