Thanks to everyone who responded with suggestions on why Miss Maggie's
engine might be shaking so much at idle. It appears that the problem is
caused by bad front mounts.
I won't be able to verify that for a few days yet, as this is the week
that the SO closes on the new garage (there's a house involved somewhere,
but that's not important, is it?). Am spending the better part of the
next few days loading up Matilda (the LBC Support Vehicle) and
transferring the SO from the old home to the new one, and painting,
cleaning, etc.
With any luck, everything will be done before the weekend is out. Please
feel free to send donations of parts, tools, and fixtures to outfit the
garage (complete MGA's and T series will also be cheerfully accepted,
I've always wanted one of each). ; )
