well I cannot make out the grille wich would help buit this apears to be a
67 or older MGB the absenece of the side marker lights brought in 1970
suggests it is early  The seats are not of the varity found in the 69
ethier and the one piece tail lamps where disconuted in 1969.Thw two wiper
blades where replaced by three in 1967. It has only two wipers.so that
places two years for your dads car 67 or earler. hope this helps and if you
