Just to throw another opinion into the mix, I decided on 195-65-14
sneakers for my '79 B. I really had my heart set on 195-60-14's but I
started to think (big mistake) about the rolling radius of the shorter
tire. It turned out that the 195-65 was the closest size to the original
165-14, fit on the Rostyles and was wide. They really work and look
great, but it is my car so my opinion is biassed. I'm not concerned with
cornering at high speeds or auto crossing so the extra sidewall height
doesn't bother me. I'd really like to stuff some 305-50-15's out back but
the shortened rear end, wheel tubs and coil overs will be a project for a
different millennium (and not on this car).
