Disconnecting driveshafts -- another advantage of the 'A'

Evidently, 

MGAs don't get towed too much, because I am surprised no-one has mentioned
the great advantage MGA owners have on this -- it is very easy to access
the driveshaft from the top on an MGA. Simply remove the panel behind the
seats (as one would to get at the battery) and there is good access to the
fuel pump, driveshaft connection to the diff, etc.
