The following is from another lister 'Down Under' who would like his name
added to the helpers there. It seems that we are getting a lot of
interest in this endeavour, but so far, only from the US or Australia. How
about our other listers? Any offers?
Nina and Skye, how are we getting along. I have kept a list of these
folks that have replied directly to me, and those that have also appeared
on the list.
By the way, did anyone see Kelvin Fagan's posting about a trip in the
UK.
it looks like an interesting proposition.

> My car is unrestored but is in immaculate condition (apart from the
>seats). Nurburg white with chrome wire wheels, over-riders and bumpers.
>Chrome stone guards on the headlights and two rectangular spot lights
>mounted under the front bumper. Push button door handles, MoMo Indy timber
>framed steering wheel and matching gear change lever. Original AM radio but
>no heater, blower fan or reversing lights. It has got the oil cooler but no
>overdrive and none of the smog stuff that you guys in the States were
>lumbered with. Seats are red but the rest of the interior is black. It has
>the stow away hood (fits in a special bag in the boot) and was imported for
>assembly to Australia in circa 1965 as a kit. The engine number is
>18GBUH/22835 and chassis number is YGHN32766. (The Y prefix designates it
>as a kit car). The tonneau is also original as are all the tools. The first
>owner was a fanatic so I have got all the original receipts. The cost of
>the car on the showroom floor on 7th February 1966 in Australia was 1,589
>Pounds 18 Shillings and 6 pence. (Pre decimal). It cost me a lot more when
>I bought it!. I have a feeling that the car is in actual fact a 64 kit
>model and must have sat around during shipping. The battery receipts show
>that they were made in 1964 as well. It had a complete engine rebuild 190

>economical, very noisy but lots of fun to drive.
