The car exists, is a factory production item, several thousands were made, only the name is wrong. Can you say "Triumph Spitfire GT ?" The Spitfire roadster was a 4-banger, starting around 1100 cc's & progressing to the wonderfull 1500 POS that also wound up in the rubber bumper Midgets. The GT, however, was blessed with a de-stroked TR6 motor, about 2000 cc's I believe. Jim Stuart real midgets don't have roll up windows, have 948 engines & smooth case trannies |
