Lowered front springs

Hi All,
I Just received my lowered front coil springs. THANKS ED!!!!
When I set them in the pans I can almost pull them up by hand to connect the
top swivel axle bolt. Is this normal? I would expect more preload. I only
have to compress them with the spring compressors about 1/2 inch. Any
thought would be appreciated.
