Chris if you have new bearings then I would install the new races as well.
Tap the old race out using a rod along the edge of the race, just keep
moving around the outside edge and it will pop out. Clean out all the old
grease (I use kerosene)To replace the race find a large washer the size of
the race and place it on top of the race, gently tap the washer which will
drive the race in. If you want to get fancy get a bolt that will fit the
washer and sandwitch the washer between two nuts, then hammer on the head
of the bolt instead of the washer. The job won't take more than 15 or so
minutes start to finish.
