Well the 'best' is highly subjective, but one of the neatest for the 'A has
been the
"A Antics" book put out by NAMGAR-Michigan chapter. I also have a copy of
Robert Vitrikas "MGA: History and Restoration". A good book to read for
historical purposes, although with the explosion of MG-related websites, you
can probably find most of the information in the book on the web somewhere.

Not recommended. While it won't happen immediately, if you don't get
hardened seats, the valves will eventually recess. You can get additives
(relatively friendly to the environment) to get around this problem.
