Hi,
If the rims are chrome ones, do as I did: use a cloth and chrome polish.
It's the real nobel hand work which makes your fingers very strong.
Cleaning my rims made them look as new from being dirty of probably 10 years
of Californian and Dutch dust and some paint dust of the car's respray about
6 hours per rim! Afterwards I've sprayed a transparant protective film of
it, where I hope will give good protection against the salty air from the
sea, which is about 5 miles away from home....
Anyway the result is great!
