Bil,
I had the same problen this summer. Check to see if your pedal is returning to
the most  upright position. Mine was getting hung up by a rusty pivot point.
I could pull the pedal up and the brakes would release.  A little oil was all
it required.

My friend Joe and I were talking this morning about the front brake pads on

his '80 roadster which are apparently dragging on the rotors.  The

conventional wisdom of the list would point to old brake hoses not allowing

the pressure to release, but Joe has new brake hoses on the front. 



Would air in the system cause the pistons to not retract?  Thought bleeding

the system might help.  Any thoughts about where to look for the problem?
