I just did this very swap on my 77B. It really makes a big difference to the
performance of the car!
Because of the position of the brake pedal booster, you cannot use the
original air-cleaners. I managed by using spacer blocks only half the
thickness of the original and a pair of Weiand air cleaners. The choke cable
goes through the rubber pad behind the master cylinder/booster and mounts in
the hole where the panel light rheostat was originally fitted. The
accelerator cable is no problem; just use one of the early ones or cut the
nipple off the end of the Z-S one.
