Rear end revisited

My thanks to all who responded.  Boy have I got a lot to  think about.  =
One of the local people who can do this for me has offered a Ford 8.8 rear =
end with DISK BRAKES!!!!!.  This seems to be a really good idea.  The =
ration is 3.5 which is perfect with my 195/55 Dunlops (the 3.09 of the MGC =
rear end seems to be a bit tall for now.) and 4 wheel disks seems to be a =
good idea.  Is there any reason I should not go this route?  All input =
will be gratefully accepted.
