Hi Mike, boy can I relate to your experience. I was in my 280Z zooming along
when a beatle suddenly stops for a cat! So I push the pedal to the metal and
the car stops, goes, stops, and I give the beatle a small bump not after my
break pedal sticks to the floor and a close heart attack!.
I had just put in new RW cylinders but there was a leak! I take the cylinder
out, dissasemble and find that the rubber bushing had a small loose rubber
scrap that helped fluid leak rather than create a seal. The leak was bearly
visable but was there. In your case no leakes from the four wheels may mean
you have a tiny leak on the hoseses, pipes or MC. Some times leaks are so
small that they drain the whole system in weeks or months thus you dont
notice. If this is not the case maybe its an alien kidnap on your brake fluid.
Oh! forget rebuilding a MC, buy a new one, spare no expense on breaks,>
