Exactly. BMW/Rover won't be aiming the car at enthusiasts, even though
they may like their endorsement and the tiny increase in overall sales
that they would be looking for. Most purchasers of the car would
neither care nor understand the difference it makes, having spent the
last umpty years driving FWD. Indeed, they may well positively dislike
the 'lethal, tail-happy' characteristics of poorly driven RWD.
